Jerry Pykiet is a dynamic professional with experience in manufacturing & distribution, health care, construction, retail and service industries. He has specialties in Metals and Industrial Oil & Gas manufacturing and green processes gleaned from his work for one of the largest metal recycling firms in the US.
With a reputation for grasping concepts and turning them into implementation, Jerry helps teams accomplish efficiency, quality & profitability goals. His credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Oklahoma State University, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, and Interpersonal Communication Certification. Jerry has enjoyed personal training from some of the top leaders in the world. One of the five Master Black Belts that trained him in Lean Six Sigma was Scott Lasater. Scott is the guy who taught Six Sigma process improvement and innovation to Jack Welch (CEO, General Electric). The formal education enhances his real world experience applying Lean Six Sigma and Communication Continuous improvement for his employers. Jerry is a high-energy realist with a keen eye for new possibilities.
With a career history of cost savings, revenue increases and new market anticipation, Jerry’s skill at process improvement, interdepartmental collaboration, and resource control, have delivered Return on Investment for decision makers and stakeholders across the board.
When not improving profits for businesses, Jerry is a great dad to his young son, and volunteers in the community with projects for Tulsa Young Professionals, ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover, and Junior Achievements. Jerry also spends time serving on the Board of Director for the Metropolitan Tulsa Urban League.
